As a UX Designer, my thoughts on this new redesign are actually pretty good.
I've got some things which are REALLY downgrading my experience though. The queue box of my songs is extremely bad, totally no overview to see which songs are in there. For example, i've got 100 songs in it, how am i supposed to find any song back. Too much effort. Also, very unclear which just have been added. Can't find them back. this part was in my opinion better on the 'old' version, great overview there. Also, in the 'releases'-tab per genre the overview is kind of bad. I've got 12 releases in my viewport and when scrolling i'm losing sight of where i was while checking out all the new releases. Also here, maybe have another look at this and maybe consider using a framework, bit bigger album cover. Album nam underneath and additional album info on :hover?

Please se this as positive criticism, for the rest of the design i think you guys done a pretty good job! Thumbs up.

this is my personal feedback after i tryed beatport pro yesterday. Here are a few things that where in my mind while browsing through top lists.

I realy like the new layout in grey and blue. Props for this! But i think it is hard to see which track is activated in a top list. You could propertly fix this by highlighting it in the list or highlight already played tracks.

The second thing that isnt very usable is that the player is now on the bottom of the site. This forces me to make a long way over my big monitor with my mouse each time a pick a new track in the list.

The last thing that irritates me was the unsharp waveform. It let my think for a second my eyes are getting worse ;)

This was my personal feedback and no critic at all. Just a few minds.

Under 'Remixers' category on the track list, it should include the full name of the remix as some remixes by the same DJ have multiple versions and it's currently difficult to determine which is which. If not in this area, then on the 'info' popup panel on the player. The title track name should also be noted on the 'info' popup panel on the player.

The 'player queue' should either refresh somehow on it's own or the scroll bar should automatically be at the bottom of the playlist page; another option, have the most recent played song on the top and the oldest at the bottom (or something so that what is playing is what you see first). This way you don't need to scroll down to the bottom to see what was just played or is coming up if you've added an entire ep/album into the playlist.

I do like the ability to see the cropped section of the track currently playing on the player and being able to zoom in to the section and out to see the full track and which section is selected/playing.

Hope these suggestions/feedback help in some way - LOVE the new design and awaiting the full release!!
