  1. Proper genre tagging: ask the label or producer for the actual genre of the release

    Sorry, but you mess up the genre of tracks so often it nearly is unbelievable. To name an easy one: how can an obvious classic 128bpm "Jazz" track just including piano, double bass and trumpet be classified as "Electronica / Downtempo"? Or a 94bpm classic "Hip Hop" track as "House" or a another track as "Tech House" instead of "Disco". This could go on endlessly :-).
    So what about asking the label or producer instead, to best classify the tracks with a genre you have at Beatport? Don't tell me you already do this or that they already send you…

  2. Sort Function on Hold-Bin Beatport Web

    Hi All, would be nice to sort Tracks on Hold-Bin Basket by Title, to prevent to buy double Tracks. At this time not possible on Beatport Web!

  3. Revert the changes made to "More From This Label"

    Previously, when you clicked on one of the first 21 releases on a record label, that release would still be located at the "More From This Label" section near the bottom of the page. Now, if the release is one of the first 21 releases and you click it, that release disappears from the "More from this label" section and you can forget where it was originally located. To me, this just seems like an unneccessary fix.

  5. The "remember me" button never works.

    Self-explanatory title. Lots of complaints about this even after it has been marked "completed". Happens to me in Chrome and Firefox.

  7. It would be cool if each sub genre in any given genre also had its own chart.

    All the genres have been given subgenres now so why not give each subgenre its own top 50 or top 100 chart as well.

  8. Fix Top 100 Release Chart

    Update the Top 100 Release charts so they're based on total tracks sold on the release.

    Right now, the Top 100 Charts are ONLY based on *FULL ALBUM* buys. DJs don't really shop this way on Beatport, so this make the chart easier to break into, and less interesting for DJs.

    Simple solution: The chart should be based on the # of tracks sold on that release, including individual track buys. For the genre Top 100 releases, you could count only the tracks tagged in that genre.

  10. **Show 'info' details on hover as well as click**

    It would be handy to have the playing track 'info' popup appear when hovering with a mouse and when clicked/tapped. I'm using this area a lot on desktop and the additional click gets a little annoying on lengthy visits.

  13. the top 10 in the main page should be with the images

    Like other tops the image of the song make it more likely to buy it, i don't like the format since the html for that reason, the main top is one of the most important things

    When you guys make Spotify playlists, can you also make playlists on Beatport so its easy to buy or shortlist bulk tracks? I often listen to your playlists for ideas.

  15. More tracks, especially classic stuff

    Hi,

    Beatport is usually ok for the very latest stuff, but what about the classic old tunes? eg. today I was looking for:

    Lost Witness - 7 Colours (John Doe Remix)

    Beatport doesn't have this classic mix, only recent remixes from the last 2 years.

    Yet a trip over to Apple Musix, shows they have it available for download.

    Same with:

    Love 4 Sale - Do you feel so Right?

    Apple Music has a wide range of mixes.

    Same again with:

    Jam and Spoon - The Age of Love (Jam and Spoon Remix)

  16. Stop Putting Radio Mixes On Front Pages

    It seems like it's been happening more frequently. I go to the front page of a genre (in this case trance) and I'm browsing through the new releases. I listen to a track and add it to my cart. I buy the track and afterwards notice it's the "Original Mix" - 3:44 instead of the "Extended Mix" - 6:00. DJs are usually buying the tracks so can we always default to the longer track if they are displayed on the front page? Different labels use the "original mix" vs "extended mix" differently.   19. The search function is TERRIBLE

    It's slow, unaccurate, cumbersome... Way too many clicks are needed to find a track. There should be more fields, at least a field for artist and title.
