No Lo-fi preview
Why should a mix be pre-listened in an awfull quality? People judge on what they hear and not on what they read.
People who are not familiar with Beatport would think this is what they get with all the releases.
The whole thing about uploading mixes is brilliant, but then.....when it comes to what it`s all about ( quality ) Beatport don`t care.
People don`t know if the original has a better sound.
I wouldnt download a mix if I can`t hear the original sound. Especially when it will cost me 7.99 Euro`s. Actualy it`s contradictory.......a single track of 1.56 euro`s can be pre-listened at high quality, but a mix of 7.99 Euro`s can not.
I would suggest and advise to stream at high quality!
Quality of mixes previews have been updated.

I think Lo-fi makes sense in terms of users, who just want to record the stream.
my suggestion:
1) listening of the whole stream only in Lo-fi is alright to prevent recording
2) interested customers schould be able to listen @ high quality, but not the whole mix. Let them hear about 2 mins around every cue point in good quality. If doing so, custumers are able to judge mixing skills and the flow of the set, before purchasing the mix. -

The Lo-fi preview sounds really bad, there are plops and bleeps everywhere! Even the stream provided by mixcloud sounds better than Beatport Mixes with awkward Lo-fi previews ... As a quality freak, it's hard to listen my mixes @ Lo-fi, so I'm going to spend all my votes for a better preview quality!

Let`s hope that the staff understands our point of view. I`m not gonna upload my mixes when it`s streamed at lo-fi.
It could damage my reputation as an internet DJ. -

It's a funny one isn't it, I made a mix which on the lo-fi preview sounds completely rubbish (and the only reason I uploaded it was so people could listen to it)
